The Charlie McCarthy Show was a very popular radio comedy which starred ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and his dummy sidekick Charlie McCarthy. Bogie appeared on the show in 1943 to promote war bonds and also his latest films Thank Your Lucky Stars and Conflict. He can be heard at the start of the show promoting war bonds, and comes back into the show at approx the 16 minute mark to take part in a comedy skit, during which he promotes the films.
